Hi ladies! I know it's been a very long time since I posted last. My name is Kristin, mom to Lacey who was born 9-13-10. I was an active member for awhile and last I posted my husband was getting deployed to afghanistan and that never happened. When I last posted Greg was complaining of a awful headache. I thought nothing of it because he has a low pain tolerance and it may have been allergies. The headaches were bad enough he could not sleep. I told him he needed to see a dr because at most a migraine for me never lasted more than 2 days and it didn't keep me from sleeping. The base de couldn't see him till the 19th of October. At this point it was 6 days of nonstop headache with no relief. His dr said it was a sinus infection but wanted a CT scan the next day. When Greg came home from the base dr he said his headache was a 8-9 on pain scale and had pressure and a feeling like there was water in his head. . He asked me not to google it because I would scare myself. I did anyway. I said you are either having a stroke or an aneurysm but that can't be because you look great! Little did I know, I was right. Greg his CT scan following morning, and was told they found some blood that wasn't supposed to be there and told him to go to the ER right away for an MRI and MRA. Greg has a malformation, a cavernous one and it burst in the pontine which is in the brainstem. He was in the ICU for a week. It was very scary. My own family was not supportive which made it difficult to get through. Greg had to medically retire from the military after 17 years in October because the cavernous malformation is too deep to remove and it could burst again. He can't stoop, bend at the waist, no stairs, no ladders, because it makes the risk even higher. I feel like a lot of Lacey's babyhood was lost because I spent so much time worrying about my husband. Greg is fine his latest MRI was good no bleeding but there is calcification and dried blood that needs to be absorbed. He gets moody and has headaches a lot. Because he retired early we lost income so I went back to work. Greg is going to school for his bachelors degree because he can't be aircraft mechanic due to the stress it puts on his brain. Other than that we are good. Lacey is still tiny! Weighs 23 pounds and still in size 3 pampers!

Welcome back! What a ride, momma! How scary, glad your hubby is okay!

I was active back at the beginning of pregnancy and then moved away and have only been back since the fall when we were finally able to get internet! (Had another move in there, too. ) My twins are growing growing, but my Lynndi is tiny also. Last week on Mom's scale she was 21lbs and is wearing 12 month size clothes. She can wear a size 3 (Huggies) but we cloth diaper so that's not often, and I only know that because of our recent weekend trip across the state. LOL

Anyway, good to have you back! Would love to see some pics!
