My youngest son will be 2yo on September 1st. We are doing a Winnie the Pooh theme.

Anyone else have ideas on their LO's birthdays? What presents will you be buying?

I'm doing a double birthday party for lil B and Kaylee since their birthdays are just over a month apart. We're having it at chuck E Cheese. Superhero theme - kaylee is into everything lil B is. But on her actual birthday, I'll get her a little cake or cupcakes and She'll get her birthday present.

It's just us, but big sis wants him to have a pinata so, we've got a free Spongebob pinata that we'll fill. There probably won't be a theme besides that, as I'm not real keen on Spongebob, especially at these ages.

As for gifts, we are now insistent that the presents aren't full of little things that can get spewn all over the house, so I'm looking at a truck with buttons, sirens and flashing lights, or a toy workbench. He likes buttons, noise and flashing lights, so that's what we're aiming for.

We're doing a "wheels on the bus" theme --- although we're not having a big party. She's having a couple of small parties that will be low key (but definitely decorated!). As for the gift, we're getting her a bunch of smaller things like books, puzzles, a couple of videos, and of course, a bus!

We don't plan to have everything be themed. Just a themed bday cake. I think we might have to do Mickey Mouse, he's become obsessed this past month!

We only do one gift for bdays and we're getting him this: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0041O41X8/..._am_us?ie=UTF8

I was so excited about Tessa and Scarlett's birthdays in October... Any way we have quiet birthdays, a cake and just our family. I bought Beau the bath alphbets from walmart and not exciting but all new panties for potty training. I am not sure whatelse I'll get him.

We are having Chase's party at Peter Piper Pizza. So the only theme will be the cake. I haven't decided between Mickey Mouse or Elmo for the cake. He loves both right now.

I am thinking we might do cupcakes instead of a cake because she will actually eat a cupcake and not just make a mess and partially eat it like she does she with cake. If I do cupcakes, I will make them myself since they won't have to have a big design on them like a cake does. She also likes Mickey Mouse and I think I have seen the little sugar/candy decorations at Party City so I might get those to put on the cupcakes.

I don't do decorations or anything, but if we do Mickey I'll get black, red, and white plates, napkins, and silverware.

No idea about presents. Our house is already overrun with stuff!

I'm such a slacker this year. I've done zero planning and don't think I'll get moving on it anytime soon. We're definitely doing more low key this year. I'm really still not sure where well even have it this time. I need to get moving but I'm dragging my feet :/

We did a family trip for her 1st birthday so this year we are doing a bigger party. We know the theme is Minnie Mouse. She is OBSESSED. Guess I should get on the planning since it's two months away.
