Hi girls,

I just found out that DH is throwing me a birthday party Saturday evening. While it is sweet of him, it presents a problem. All of my friends will expect me to be drinking!!

Do any of you girls know a receipe for a type of "slush" drinks or a drink that can seem to be alcoholic?

TIA!

Oooh I had lots of these on the cruise! You can make ANY slushie drink non-alcoholic.... Strawberry Daiquiris, Pina Cola, my favorite.... mix the two together and have a Lava Flow (soooo yummy)....

I'm definitely going to need some of these too... If I get my BFP this summer, I'm going to have to play it off because SO's family is NOT going to believe a just quit drinking without a reason...

Ok here is what I have....basically all you need is a blender....let me know if this will work...if not I may have something else too:

Virgin Strawberry Daiquiri Recipe

Ingredients:
- 1 oz fresh lime juice
- 3 oz Strawberry Daiquiri Mix (you can also use frozen strawberries if you like organic foods)
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- cubed ice (5-10 cubes or about 1 to 1 and a half cups)

I start by blending the ice a little before I add the other ingedients...then I add all of the ingredients together and just keep blending, until its crushed... If you want more flavor just add more mix....if you want less flavor just add more ice...

Pina Colada's

In blender

crushed canned pineapple
coconut creme (usually comes in a can)
a little milk
lots of ice

and blend it up! I don't know exact amounts, I always just throw each ingredient in, but its YUMMY!

Margarita's

peel and cut up one lime

peel and cut up one lemon

peel and cut up one orange

1 tbs of sugar

1 1/2 cups of water and 4-6 cups of ice

Blend it up and drink it! The orange is optional, but it tastes way better with it in it. Oh, and just get an empty tequilla bottle or rum bottle and fill it with water...people will never know the difference if you're only making them for you! lol

Thanks girls! They all seem so tasty that it'll be hard to decide on just one!
Although, I think I'll keep them all because I'm sure it'll be a long summer of trying to hide my drinks. Good tip on using an empty bottle and filling it with water, Shanna!
