So I thought I was all ready to test "for real" tomorrow morning, but I'm definitely chickening out. For unknown reasons, I decided to put myself through the agony of a BFN this evening (after work- DH has no idea I even did this)- granted, it was an IC, but there was NO sign of a line. That being said, I'm going to wait until AT LEAST Sunday (temperatures dependent) to test with a FRER. I might possibly torture myself with another IC tomorrow (I stocked up, so I have them ), but I am not going to test with FMU until at least Sunday. I want to see what my temps/ body does for two more mornings. I do feel that I am 1, possibly 2 days ahead of what FF says, so I think this weekend *could* be late enough to test, and just because I'm getting antsy... But.. UGH. I freaking HATE BFNs!!!

**Updated 8/24/08**

I used a FRER this morning and an IC (who knows why) with FMU and both were BFNs! My temps stayed up there, so it could be too early, but blah. It knocked me down another peg because I *think* I'm 11-12dpo. Oh well- here's to testing on Tuesday!

ETA- I have a "possibly triphasic" chart starting at day 25 according to FF..

BFN'S STINK! But all of us here have really high hopes for you so hang in there! We will be waiting...not patiently...but waiting, to hear the news when you are ready to test again!

BTW, where do you get your IC's?

Thanks. I am hoping to share good news, believe me.. HOPING! I'm still running a very low fever tonight (100.3) and my BBs are still NOT sore (SO unusual) so there's hope. I just can't do this again until I think I'm in the clear.

I got my ICs from where a bunch of girls here shop-- Early Pregnancy Tests

I guess that maybe its cause I'm still new to do but like I want to check like every day and don't really get upset at BFN's.
I got more upset when my temps went down.

I say test, AF hasnt showed yet your still in the running don't get too freaked out.
Think of it as a science experiment and that your testing to see how early you can possibly get a result (thats what I tell myself) hehe

Interesting way to look at it. Thanks! See, back in January (in an unknown annovulatory cycle before I was temping) I really really really thought a BFP was around the corner- I had my hopes up- DH had HIS hopes up & then I took a blood test to prove it was untrue & I came down hard. That was really bad pain & I don't want to feel that again. But of course, that was BEFORE I found this site & the wonderful girls in this forum!

Don't worry Jackie! I've chickened out more times that I care to admit to! That's why I call myself a POAS Pansy! Test when you feel it's right! We're all pulling for you to get that BFP and I hope that whenever you test will be a day to celebrate!!! Good luck! I hope your body and temps give you good signs!

Jackie, your chart looks soooo HOT!! I can't blame you for waiting to see what temps do. It was early when you tested that evening AND not with FMU. I hope this is your cycle. Good Luck when you do test!!

Jackie, you know I am not trying to give you false hope, but I tested on 10dpo after work w/ a dollar store test (I equate them with the IC's), and then the next morning used the FRER w/ FMU and got the BFP. All this is to say that I don't think those tests are quite as sensitive or reliable, so don't be too depressed aobut the results. Because I am obsessive and kept testing after the BFP, I can tell you I didn't get a + on the dollar store test until 14 or 15dpo. I'm rooting for you!!!

Jackie I hear ya! I always go through about an hour of numbness when I get my BFN's...thinking that I "knew" it was going to be a BFN anyhow. But then about an hour later, it sinks in and it's a horrbile feeling. I hear ya on being afraid to test. I agree that you just need to test when its right for you. It doesn't have to be a date written in stone. I'm rooting for you, and am hoping for some great news soon!!

Thanks again, ladies! I need the luck and dust!!

Courtney-- I've been secretly overlaying my chart with your BFP chart-- when I make it squish the coverline & ovulation day, they look strangely similar! & That's keeping the O day that FF has, believe it or not. I think I'll use FMU tomorrow, knowing full well that it still *could* be too early depending on when I actually did O. If no luck, then I'll watch my temps until Tuesday.

Don't worry! I went through this testing turmoil as well....remember my many freak out posts over the day or two before I got my BFP? It's almost like if you don't test...well, soon enough you'll know because AF stays away permanently. And if you do test and it's a BFN, well, we all know how that goes. But then I tested one night out of the blue - and there it was - BAM - BFP!

I still think your chart is SUPER HOT! and I have every freaking crossable crossed for you because I believe this is it for you!

Jackie your chart looks great! Don't worry about any BFN's just yet, it could still be too early.

Good luck!
