Let me start out by saying, that I am pretty much done with our bedroom that we were remodeling. It took forever and we still have a couple touch up paint spots, but it is finally done. I will take some pics as soon as we get those touch up spots done (maybe tomorrow).
My father in law has come to stay with us for 2 weeks. I am not sure how to describe him other than strange. He sits and stares into space quite a bit..... and he listens to some strange classical music that kinda creeps me out. I got out of the shower one night and he was outside listening to the radio (right below the window, it's just where our patio is) and I heard weird, evil clown music. Talk about freak me out, then I started laughing. Last night when I got home is sounded like music from Transylvania. Yeah. It's going to be a long 2 weeks.
I also had plumbers here again.... to finally fix our sewer pipe. They spent the entire day digging in the wrong places (yes pleural) because we have so many lines running from our house. Only to be told that they finally found the line that was causing the problems is under our driveway. They have to dig up our driveway.... and it's going to be expensive... aaaahhhhh which means we probably won't have the money to fix the foundation. grrrrrr
Last but not least..... I went to the RE today for the very first time. They are wonderful and we are going to injectables and IUI.... only to move onto IVF if I produce too many follicles and/or if I am ready to move on from IUI. So we're moving forward!!!
I start vacation next week so I can visit my friends that I have been totally neglecting. I'm really sorry I haven't been around, but I have been incredibly busy. I hope you are all well. I do pop in from time to time... to keep checking on you guys.

Wow, sounds like you have lots on your plate! Good luck with the FIL visit- yikes!! You know.. home repairs are always like that for us, too. You think it'll be a simple problem with a simple fix.. then you figure out the root of the problen, and it turns out to be MUCH more expansive and expensive than you think. Blech! And, Im glad your RE appt went well. Woohoo. Hopefully you get your bfp soon!

Oh yeah, I so want to try acupuncture this cycle.... but now I have to see if we'd have the money. They offer a whole slew of services to help... massage, accupuncture, yoga.... etc. I am willing to try just about anything. I just sooo want to get PG this cycle. I just have to be careful not to stress myself out again.

The RE said too that they have done studies that have shown that infertility is just as stressful as having a major disease like cancer. I was like WOW. I think it really sunk in for Steve that everything that I have been feeling is completely normal.

The injectables are also $3500 out of pocket , but luckily my insurance covered all but $65. I am very very lucky. So we'll see what happens.

Toni! It's is so, so good to see an update from you. What a busy bee you've been! I can't wait to see pics of the bedroom--I'm sure it's beautiful. As for the FIL visit. . . all I can say is that my in-laws staying with me (hasn't happened yet) is one of my more dreadful scenarios. I feel for ya.

As for the RE appt--YAHOOOOO! You might have already, but I would certainly check your insurance to see if they cover acupuncture--some do. As I mentioned in April's post, I am a huge fan, used it the last 2 1/2 cycles TTC and if nothing else, it is the most relaxing thing I have ever tried. More than yoga. MOre than massage. It's a totally different feeling and best of all, it doesn't hurt! I'll be stalking you, my friend. Have a great vacation!

I'm so glad that your bedroom is done, sorry about the driveway! (and your strange FIL!) At least you can laugh at his odd taste in music.

I am so glad you have a plan with the RE now, I really hope that the IUI and injectables work and you get your BFP soon!

Thanks girls. You are so great to me. I really appreciate all your kind words. I'm getting excited about all of this again. I am thinking I see a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel.

I will have to see if my insurance covers acupuncture.... that would be really nice. I don't remember what the name of the injectable is.... I should be getting it in the mail tomorrow.

I finally have a day off tomorrow too, but I have to catch up on stinky laundry and stuff I will post pics soon.

OH and CRIS.... I will be going to get the film developed (who does that anymore?!?) tomorrow!!!!
