Hey all....I've been lurking here awhile-and post occasionally. I could really use some input at this point. For the last week I have been feeling fatigued, crampy, gassy and just kind of weak. Anyway-I kept saying that I felt like I was pregnant (but didn't test because I didn't really think the timing was right). Anyway-I tested tonight with a First Response test and saw a faint pink second line. I called my mom (who was over for dinner) and my husband-they both saw the line and said that it was pink, albeit very faint. So-my hopes were kind of up.

Anyway-I went back to check the test about 45 minutes later and the line pretty much disappeared! Does this mean it was an evap afterall? I thought evaps were not supposed to be colored?

Has anyone ever had this happen to them? I will add that this would be extremely early to test...I don't know if the low levels of Hcg would make the positive result not stick around longer. Also-I POAS around 7pm...after drinking a lot of fluids-so probably not a high concentration.

Please-any input-I'm going CRAZY here!!!! I am so scared to take another tomorrow and not see anything That would just be too cruel....

I don't know what to tell you about that one! Maybe you could wait a day or 2 and test again... if there was a line, it would probably be darker in a few days. Sorry I can't be of much help! Good luck!

If you used two different urine samples then yes you can get a line on one and not on another, it all depends on the concentrate in the urine.
I suggest using FMU and check again.
Also wait a day or two, you'll be surprised how much darker a line can get when you test again 2 days later.
Also when I testes I always used little disposable mouthwash cups to dip test in.
That way if I came up with a line but wanted to check it wasn't an evap I could test a second time with the same sample.

I honestly think that because it is quite early, it could go either way. I really hope this IS it for you though hun. I can only imagine your anxiety right now. Just remember to take a couple of deep breaths and try again in a day or two. DIGI's are expensive and brutally honest, but sometimes its better than trying to gauge a second line. Just a thought.

Good luck, and make sure you keep us posted! And know that either way, we are all here for you.
