So as you know I met with an Infertility specialist last Wednesday and she dx me with pcos. I have been considering going to an RE instead. Do you ladies think that would be a better idea?

The only reason I am skeptical is because my insurance doesn't cover anything fertility related so the infertility specialist works in the same office as my ob and said she can probably get her to sign most of the orders so my insrurance would cover it - since I can take metformin for pcos (it also boosts fertility apparently? i am still trying to learn more about this drug) and she said Clomid is fairly inexpensive..but like ultra sounds and stuff she can have my ob write up so i don't have to pay for them.

but i have heard a lot of people on here say REs are the way to go. so hypothetically..say my insurance covered it all...which should i go to?

I'm not really for sure I do know that most people say to do whatever insurance will cover till there is no other options but to go to the RE.
