Convertible cribs??

It converts to a day bed, but I couldn't find the conversion pic for the life of me!

Of course the only way to go. It saves so much money in the long run. I already have ours picked out. DH and I picked out about 6 months ago.

i used to think this was the way i wanted to go, however dh and i would love to have a fairly large family so we think we will just get one really nice neutral color crib and then buy them a bed as they get older...and rotate the beds! (dh wants 8 kids, i want 5!)

Thumbs up. Although since I want a second pretty soon after, I wonder if I'd be better buying a toddler bed, and giving baby #2 the non-convertible crib. I dunno yet for sure.

Thumbs down to that particularcrib posted- I don't like that one.
But, thumbs up to convertible cribs in general. I think they're great in the long run for saving $$.

That said- I'm another who would like her kiddos a bit close in age.. so I'm not sure I would get one. Would seem more logical to have 1 crib, and when the 2nd came.. to move them to a toddler bed (if age appropriate at the time) and let the newer one have the crib? I dunno.

I wasn't necessarily talking about the crib pictured...just the concept.

I say thumbs up!

Thumbs down to the pic. Thumbs up for convertible cribs in general, for sure - why wouldn't you want to get more life out of your crib?

Thumbs up for the concept. But we already have beds for each room so I don't think we'll get one.

Not my type anyway. I don't like the look AND the design of the crib plus it doesn't look safe to me. I have my own crib I want to choose

I think they are a great idea, but I also want to get pg quickly after our first so having a regular crib may be the way to go. We'll see though! But it is a great idea
