After AF shows (should be this weekend) I want to by the ovulation test strips. Does anyone recommend a brand that I can buy at a store? I don't want to purchase them online b/c I want to start them as soon as AF goes. Any helpful advice would be wonderful too! Thanks Ladies!!

I use the Answer brand strips. They are really nothing fancy but they are easy to read and reasonably priced.

i still have to recomend www.babycreation.com I know you wanted in store, but these guys had my stips to me the next day! If you buy the one's that are in ziplocks, they cost next to nothing and show up in your regular mailbox in 1 day. I'm finding them easy to use.

I am not a fan of Answer. Some girls love them but I tend to get all positives on them and they are very hard to read for me. I use the IC's and they are wonderful for me. I know you don't want to order online but Early Pregnancy Tests.com ships the next day (sometimes I get a shipment email that day even) and if you use the coupon code "preseed" you will get free shipping...if you don't already. Sometimes you don't need the code. If AF hasn't shown yet, you will for sure have them by the time AF goes away. I usually get mine in 2-3 days.

I've tried answer, equate, and clear blue easy.

Answer is definitely the best brand I've found so far. I had a tough time with the clear blue because its hard to really tell sometimes because the blue sort of smears.....but the answer is pinky red line and I've always had clear results.

I've only tried the Answer brand since we are still on our first cycle, but they seem to work fairly well. The only complaint I have is that it seems to stay "positive" longer (like four days in a row for me) than some other brands might. But like I said, I only have 1 cycle as a frame of reference.

I've only used first response and I found them very easy to read, but sometimes I get + a few days in a row too, but FF always agrees that I O after those +s.

For those who use ICs....are the strips good or do you use midstream tests?

I use the strips. They are cheaper and I always pee in a cup anyway so I don't make a mess! And so if I have a bad test I can re dip in the same sample.

I tried the answer brand strips for 2 cycles, but I only got positives... even when I clearly wasn't Oing. It was strange. I also order form early-pregnancy-tests.com per April's recommendation and I love them!

Good luck!!
