I've been looking online at cloth diapering and all the different designs of fabric for the diapers is waaaay cute, plus you an make your own from old flannel sheets or fleece blankets and that says you more money.... !!!!
Jason was against cloth diapering until we did some research. A diaper service actually costs less than disposable, and you don't have to do the laundry! I don't plan to use disposables for anything except travel.
As for breastfeeding, I'm on the fence. I know all the health benefits, but I have very sensitive nipples (I know, TMI) and thought of it actually makes my skin crawl! If I can get over that, I will.
I'm definitely going to try and breastfeed for at least 6 months.
Part of me wants to cloth diaper but then the other part doesn't want to deal with the mess. My mom used cloth diapers and a diaper service with me and my siblings (one brother and one sister) and she always tells me it wasn't as bad as I think, though she prefers disposable for their convenience now. I guess I'll need to give it some more thought.
