Hello, hope everyone is well.

I went to the doctor and my PG test was a BFN. She says missing an AF is not all that uncommon and she has no concerns... It'll come when it wants to. If I haven't gotten my AF in 6 months then she'll worry. Since my B/F and I have been trying throughout January she says even if I am, it is still to soon to tell... The last time was about a week ago. This just means December is out so no September baby, which is good to many people in my family are September babies. She did an U/S and she says my ovaries and uterus are looking good and sees no reason why a baby wouldn't wanna stick around and hang out for 9 months. She says I should be concieve naturally and anytime. Oh and from the U/S she says it's safe to say I O'd.. I don't really understand how she could tell but I'll take it. I have to go get blood tests done for glucose, cholesterol, tryglycerides, a total haematology profile and other things like liver/kidney fuction and diabetes. She says since I am on the heavier side she wants to make sure everything else can support a healthy pregnancy. My BP was 120 over 70 which is good so I'm quite happy. I go back March 1st for all the test results, another PG test and since I didn't get the total exam today I will get it next time I go in. I really hate people poking at me *down there*!

All in all a good visit, just wished I got a BFP... man that would have been a little to easy wouldnt it?

6 months seems like a long time to me. my dr won't let me go more than 2-3 months before giving me meds to start AF. Are your periods usually irregular? Did she mention anything about PCOS to you? I ask because I had all the same blood tests when I got diagnosed with PCOS, although I guess that wouldn't have to be the case.

I was on the depo shot for a couple years and just recently got AF back (October) so my doctor said they will be irregular for a while. Before I had the shot though I was regular as can be. It would start on the 2nd of every month and last till 7th. She never mentioned PCOS. I think maybe thats why she did the U/S... but she said there is nothing abnormal going on... I could have just stressed myself out alot during Jan and thats why it didnt show. I've had a little bit of cramping since Sunday so it maybe on it's way. Also nobody in my family has infertility issues... my mom got pregnant with me and my 2 brothers the 1st month they tried. My mom had specific months she wanted for birthdays and she got them. Our family doesnt have major health issues. The only thing several family members have is deafness but thats not a huge issue.
