I'm posting this for Christine:

Hi girls- Aaron and I were talking about some of the sub-forums and considering possibly getting rid of some of them. We noticed that the weight-loss and the CSR aren't really being used. Should we keep the CSR (Chart Stalking Room in TTC #1 Key Topics forum)? Is anyone willing to keep up on it?? Let us know if you want to update the CSR and take over from Ash.

BUMP.

I'd personally move the CSR back into a sticky on the main board.. when it was moved over to the subforum, I sort of forgot it existed.

I think the CSR should be kept...its a nice and easy way to stalk everyones charts in one place, rather than searching all over for them. Hope someone has the time to keep up on it for us.

I love the CSR, and look at it often Although I should visit the weight loss one I don't, so would vote to remove that one.

I agree i'd like to keep the CSR. I'd probably visit it more if it was stickied, like Jackie said.

I agree about the CSR and the sticky. TBH I didn't know the CSR was there until I stumbled on it one day... the sticky is much easier to work with.

While I agree we're here for that reason, some of us partook in that forum to lose a little weight TO be healthier for when we DO become pregnant It doesn't happen immediately (pregnancy) for everyone . . . some just like to drop a few pounds before getting there.

But, I said above to get rid of it- simply because it's not used too much.

It would be nice to have the CSR as a sticky...it's easier to get to. I looked over at the ttc board and they had their CSR stickied and they didn’t separate by 2ww or waiting to O. I don’t know if it would be easier to keep up with that way or not. JMO.

It used to be stickied, and it used to be only one topic, but JM only allows so many active tickers to a post so it had to be split. With the BFP storm that rolled through, I am thinking we may be back under that limit.

I voted to keep the CSR... but I really like the idea of making it a sticky again. It's so much easier to check in on everyone that way. I think that it seems it hasn't been used because mostly we just check the list rather than post on it so it doesn't get a ton of posts. Does that make sense?

The only problem is.. we are allowed 6 stickies on the main TTC #1 board... in a subforum we are allowed as many stickies as we want... And there's limit using how many tickers in a thread. You see there's 2 CSR stickies (Two week wait and Grad Charts & W2O, No Temps, and Taking a Break).. because everything won't fit in 1 thread.
testing list, bfp list and csr under key topics subforum.. i think it is fine..
having too many stickies on main board looks too crowdy.
KWIM?
i know the subforum can be overlooked..... now you know where the subforum is... it is only a click away on the subforum to check out the stickies. i always check out the subforums...
Anyone want to take over updating CSR? You can copy and paste the old CSR in your thread.. and just update it in original post.

JM has variety of different boards... there's a weightloss board. This board is not only for pregnancy or trying to conceive... there's diversity on JM..
