I'm planning on using it this cycle to increase my CM. How many of you have used it and does it actually work?

It's supposed to increase your CM which will increase your chances. I'm just not sure how well it actually works so i'm hoping to hear some success stories.

I'm too scared to take anything without speaking with my Doctor first, and right now I'm on a waiting list for my annual exam, it could take months before I can see her. Unless I get pregnant right away, then I won't have to wait.

here's what I found online for this:

There is some anecdotal evidence (not substantiated in the medical literature) that the active ingredients in Robitussin cough syrup change the mucus to make it more penetrable to sperm. Some recommend that a woman take two tablespoons per day in the two to three days preceding ovulation. There have been cases where women have had allergic reactions to this medication, although it is widely used and generally considered to be safe

and this to:

You can use either brand name Robitussin or a generic. If you are using Robitussin, use the original formula only. Some of the others have active ingredients in addition to the guaifenesin. These may actually counter the affect of the active ingredient, negating the effect.
When you are choosing a store brand version, it will say "compare to the active ingredient in Robitussin". Check the ingredients to be sure guaifenesin is the only active ingredient listed. There is nothing magic about the Robitussin name, just look for that active ingredient.
I do have friends who have had success using Robitussin, all on the advice of their physicians. They took the medicine three times each day. Take the full dose allowed on the bottle if you have thick mucous. Also, it is important to stay hydrated to help thin the mucous as well. Drink water with every dose and sip in between doses to ensure you are well hydrated.
If you are under care of a doctor for the treatment of a specific infertility issue or treatment, check with her before taking any important medication. This isn't because Robitussin isn't safe, but you want to be sure it won't interfere with any other treatment or medication you are taking.

I have used it and I used 2 tsp 3times a day. Make sure it is the Guafenesin (sp?) only because anything else added can dry you out. You can check the ingredients and if there is anything listed in the active ingredients besides that it probably don't buy it. I personally did not notice much of a change and I have used it for months. This cycle I took evening primrose oil and definately noticed a chance. I had 2 more days of EWCM than I normally do! I did take the Robitussin as well. Hope that helps Krista.
