So, I was running low of OPK's and was at Target the other day to buy more. I had a coupon for First Response and since I used them last month--thought I'd buy those. Anyway, I bought the 20 pack because it seemed like a better deal than the 7 pack.

Well, I didn't realize that they expire 30 days after you open them! ( The 20 pack just comes in one big pack where the 7 day pack is individually wrapped) I only use 3-4 a month--so I was bummed to find out I spent the extra money--and may not be able to use them again!!

Of course if I get my BFP--that would be a different story, but my question is--has anyone used them past the 30 days, or do I really have to throw them all out? Thanks! (They're tightly wrapped and kept in a drawer.)

i get those but i put the extra in a vac and seal bag until the next month. i throw in one of those packets that keeps out humidity (in the FR opk bag) just to make sure...so far that has helped me out and made them last longer....

Thanks LucyAnna--I'll have to do that! I probably wouldn't have even known to look for that humidity thingy!

I'd still use them even if they expire...that just sounds so dumb that they would do that.
