I am totally not loving the 150mg of Clomid this cycle ... I had some pretty nasty hot flashes. Shawn had a lot of laughs at my expense. My poor husband had to deal with me literally radiating heat. I had two fans set on high, two windows open and the blankets and sheets going on and off all night long through the weekend. The past 2 days my ovaries have been aching. I know this all to be expected and I know it means that the stuff is working, but wowsa!

Anyhow... I had my follie check U/S this afternoon. I swear this was the fastest one yet! I had a couple of decent size follies on the right side and then when she moved to the left side, my DH leaned forward and said "Whoa! Look at that one! They're going to pop you today!" Um, ok, Thanks Dr Shawn! The u/s tech was cracking up. The tech said we had a "perfect" follie at 2.2 x 2.0cm and 2 slightly smaller ones there too. She kept telling us "good job" too.

We triggered this afternoon and the IUI will be on Wednesday. My arse hurts from the injection, and my ovaries on both sides are aching pretty bad right now. It's killing me not to BD but we were told that since we did last night we need to abstain until the IUI. Boo!!! I guess it helps that DH is asleep right now. I can wait, I can wait, I can wait... (I hope!) LOL

I hear you on the hot flashes and sore ovaries - I know the 50mg is working for me, because I've been under a fan for a WEEK and the O cramps are getting worse and worse LOL - its hard to walk sometimes!

I'm so hoping and praying for you!!!

OMG I just realized - we're cycle buddies, too! LOL Awesome

Lets both get into our DDC together - we'll have the same due date!

I hope that you have an absolutely perfect IUI on Wednesday, can't wait till you see the winning result of all that Clomid hormone chaos!

Oh, good luck!!! The hot flashes and pain sounds awful, but I bet that's a great sign. Keep us posted!!!
