Can I ovulate even if I never get a positive on an OPK? These things just wont get any darker. If you don't stare at them you won't even see the line. You really have to look at them to see something. The confusing part though is I'm finally getting CM and my cervix are right where they need to be but these stupid OPKs just won't change.

Is it possible or am I just crazy?

hi! It's possible to miss a surge - that's why sometimes people use them twice a day closer to O time. What brand are you using? It's weird that you have to stare to see the test line - most women have some LH in their system throughout the month. I am about 9 or 10 days away from when I should O (based on CD of O last month) and I just took an OPK and still saw a line. It was negative but the test line was still there.

They are very very very faint. And I test twice a day and I'm using the Answer brand and ICs.

I was on Lupron for six months and I've been off for a month. I haven't O or AF.

This is going to sound like a strange question, but how does your cervix feel? Is it soft? Because high and medium/firm still might be too far away/approaching O. You might also have lower LH levels, meaning its harder to get an early positive.

I sure hope you O this month while DH is home, and I especially hope you won't see AF until August!

They're literally so soft today I was able to pinch them. Cause I keep thinking about that and the texture of them and normally I can't tell that much. Today I paid extra close attention to them and I was able to pinch them. Normally they don't feel that flexible or soft. They're usually really hard and they move up and down. Sometimes they feel really low but they'll shoot right on up later once my muscles are relaxed.

When I used OPKs, I ended up testing twice a day because I realized I was missing my surger. I also noticed that with some brands, I never got a positive. I once tested a month with two different brands and one brand never gave me a positive.

I think that's why it's good to temp and do OPKs, so you have some confirmation that you did O.

Yea I'm testing twice a day but it's with two different brands but not at the same time. I guess I'm just not Oing yet, even after a month of being off.

Don't lose hope yet, I didn't get full ferning on my microscope until the day of O - maybe you won't get a positive OPK until O day! It happens, you never know!

And a lot of ladies get that fade in, fade out, BAM positive pattern!

Haha I hope we all get the surprise we want.

If it's not this go around I hope my body lines up to O during Christmas break. I'll have two weeks then and the longer off of the Lupron the better my odds are of something happening.
