I just wanted to know how soon are we supposed to get some sort of pregnancy symptoms? I dont think implantation would have occured at this point for myself but still do some women feel some sort of symtom prior to implantation? I feel like im having to go to the bathroom a whole lot more than I normally would. It could just be that im drinking a whole lot more water. Also I have a lot of gas! Could you share your experiences with eary pregnancy symptoms?

Well since I've never been pregnant,, I can't use experience. But I have heard of women who have gotten symptoms a few days after ovulation, and some don't have any until after they already know!
It is very possible. Ever since yesterday morning I have been very gassy too,, I am hoping it is because of that reason, but I don't want to drive myself crazy wondering!

I'm glad I found this topic b/c I was going to post some similar questions. The first time I got pg (ended in m/c Jan '05at 8 wks), I remember having some symptoms: gas , tender breasts, frequent urination, bloating, frequent thirst (especially before bed for some reason ). At the time, I didn't really know they were pg symptoms b/c they're so simliar to AF, but I just had a gut feeling...you know?

This time, I'm experiencing all of the above minus the sore bbs. I'm only 4 dpoor thereabouts, so I know it's still very early. But I have some additional questions :
- generally how many days do you O for? (i think i might have miscalculated my cycle )
- how many days past O could you be experiencing symptoms?
- how early can you test with a hpt?

I know I'm still too early to test now, I'm just looking ahead. Although I'm not impatient now...I know I will be!

The thing for me is the sore bbs. Since they're not sore yet, I don't really get my hopes up, but again, it's early! Aarrrggghh!

****Many women like myself can be fertile for a few days leading up to ovulation, like my stick was positive from a friday to a tuesday but tuesday was the darkest. I Bd all the time except monday during that time. Every woman is different. the best way to tell is by monitoring not 1 thing but more than 1 of your fertility signs: cm, cp, opk, temp, etc. good luck!

- how many days past O could you be experiencing symptoms?
**from what I have read in my numerous books anywhere from a few days to a couple of weeks. Every woman and every pregnancy are different. Most women after ovulation experience the sore breasts because of the progesterone. If you don't that is usually a sign of anovulation, because high amounts of progesterone are released when you ovulate, and if you don't than it is not released.

- how early can you test with a hpt?
***If you are correct about your calculation usually anywhere from 10-12 dpo. Like I said again it depends on when it implanted, timing, etc. If you miscalculated it could take until your period is due.

Best wishes and baby dust to you all this month!
