Hi Everyone,

I know that this is O week and plan to use OPT strips this month. It says not to use first morning urine and was wondering when I should use them considering I work nights? So for most people it says to test between 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. Should I still go by this or adjust it since I work nights? Also once LH surge is detected is it best to BD that day and the day after? Thanks, Crystal

LOTS OF BABY DUST TO ALL!!!!

I would think that sometime in the afternoon would be fine for the OPT. Once you see the surge, you should bd that day and the next. Good luck!

I used to test at work midday at around 3pm. And as soon as I saw the + (which was during the weekend) we BD'ed. Remember that 24-36 hours after an LH surge is detected is when you will ovulate. SO you need to make sure you BD that day.....

My doctor suggested that we BD the day of and the day after dectecting the LH surge! From what I've heard, it's actually best NOT to test with FMU. You should test at the same time every day though. Also, make sure to have a few hours go by without going to the bathroom before testing.

Good luck!
