I am 4 DPO and yesterday I woke up with a sore throat and it was a little more sore today. I feel like I am getting a cold. Do you know if there is anything that is safe for me to take?

I have no idea. I had this happen last month and I just read the back labels of everything but everything says consult doctor first if pregnant. The only thing I could tell you at this point with it being this early is the baby is technically not using your blood supply yet so anything you use should be okay. Again, not a doctor here lol.

I agree with Danee. Maybe I'm a little jaded after TTC for so long but I've decided I'm not going to put my life on hold until I KNOW I'm pregnant. Although, I'm not really a meds person and would never take anything for just a little sore throat or cold. I recommend hot tea with honey and lemon. This will take away the sore throat. Up your vitamin C and get good rest. You'll be better in no time.

Thanks...I have been drinking warm water with, honey got a good night sleep last night. I just want to kick this cold before it gets worse.

My first cycle of TTC, I had some bad sinus problems. My doc put me on Sudafed since we didn't know if I was pregnant because she told me it was safe if I was.

When i was pregnant and i had sore throat and cough then my doc said that almost everything you are able to give to your little children, you can take yourself. aka some syrups perhaps.

Just wanted to stop by and say that I hope you're feeling better. I see you had a huge temp dip yesterday! How are you feeling this cycle?! When will you be testing?

Thanks everyone. Other than this sore throat and a little cough I feel fine. Nothing out of the ordinary. I am not sure when I am going to test, I have been trying so hard not to lol. All I have are the Wondfo Cheapies and I am not sure how soon those detect pregnancy.
