Hello Ladies...Its me again
I purchased 30 OPK sticks that you have do dip in a cup and I don't feel that I am getting a darker line then the control line... its frustrating...
I have only been doing this for 2 months... I think I am gonna junk them or take them with another OPK so I can see what the line color is suppose to be.
I was wondering what you ladies are using.

I use New Choice sold at Dollar Tree.
I get a clear positive every time and they only cost a buck a test.
BTW, the reason you may not be seeing a darker line is that you may have O'd already. That temp drop on CD 20 looks promising.
Best of luck to you!

I used the cheapie Wondfo from Amazon, they worked for me. Were you testing twice a day?

I also use the cheapie Wondfos from Amazon and I back them up with the Clearblue digis from Amazon. Both have worked each month. Had a little issue earlier in the month with a false positive on the digi and my ICs looking almost positive for days. But when I combine all my tests, temps, and CM together I was able to pinpoint O successfully this month.

Thanks ladies for responding... I am using Wondfos... I am getting a line close to the control line color but never darker... I can still consider this a +OPK right?
No I am not testing twice a day... should I be? I am only testing in the evenings.
My temp did on CD20 does look promising but what am I to think about CD23's temp??
Any input would be greatly appreciated.... thanks again girls

I do the same thing as Danee! I use the wondofo ICs and when I get a positive I use a digi just to make sure. I don't pour out my pee until after I get the IC result for that reason.
And looking at your chart I am not sure if you O'd yet I know it sucks. I go from CD38 to 32 to a freak cycle of 17. With your temp drop today it doesn't look like its a solid O temp jump. Hopefully soon!!

Ok I have a stupid ? then....
I have no more CM so therefore I should have O'd on CD21.
Or can you O after there is no sign of CM???

I like the answer brand... they come in a package of 20 for like $19. I always have a slow building surge so I only count the ones with a line that's Darker than the control line.
Good Luck!

Looking at your chart it doesn't seem like you have Oed yet. And you can't count the OPK positive until it's AT LEAST the same color as the control line. I hope you get some answers soon. Maybe you're having an annovulatory cycle? Is this your first few cycles charting?

CM can change and transition many times before O due to fluctuations in hormones. You can have EWCM for a day or so, then have it change to fairly dry and go back to EWCM.
Until you see a sustained thermal shift on your chart, you're best to consider yourself still fertile. If you're seeing a gradual darkening of your OPK, that's a sign things are going in the right direction.
Keep testing and BD'ing. I've been here long enough to know that just when you think your cycle is a bust, things can kick into gear.
Best of luck to you...

Definitely. Based on your temps alone, I'd say you haven't O'd yet. You need 3 high temps to be sure.
Good luck!

I understand that you need 3 temps that are elevated.... if I have 2 more temps that are elevated after today then I'd say that CD23 is when I O'd...right?
I just took an OPK and got 2 lines the same color... Had to take another one to make sure... and the test line was a little lighter then the control but not by much
DH is already asleep for the night
Hope to BD in the morning and catch the lil eggy
What do u think?

If you see a nice temp drop in the next two days then maybe that OPK was the real deal. Good luck.

UPDATE
I had a major temp drop this morning
I got a darker line then the control line this morning
BD done
Thats 3 checks off my list & now keeping fingers crossed that we catch that eggy
We shouldn't have to BD again tonight right? Cause that might be a lil hard to get the DH to do again...lol

I would tentatively say that you may be o'ing today, which would make today and the last 2 days your most fertile days. BDing tonight certainly wouldn't hurt, but if you got it in this morning, you're probably good. I would keep at it until you see that temp shift, though!

I would recommend testing twice a day until you know when you get your surge. Some people may only get there surge earlier in the day and my only last a few hours.

I wouldn't count yourself out just yet.
From your other thread, it sounds like the previous OPK on CD 20 was negative. You posted that the test line was lighter than the control line, so it sounds like Saturday was your positive.
That aside, be sure not to read too much into individual temps. You're looking for a pattern, not specific temps. Also, there are several types of thermal shifts. Not every shift goes continuously up. Some shoot up really high and stay high, some drop and then rebound while others go up in very small increments.
I'd keep the BD train rolling if you can...
