So we only started TTC last month. I'm CD4 in cycle #2 with a very light, if not spotty, AF. This is very unusual for me. Usually by day 4 of AF I have a very heavy flow. I'm fairly certain I'm not prego so I was wondering, does TTC change your AF? If AF doesn't come in in full force in the next few days, I may test again just to make extra sure I'm not prego...

BTW, cute afterthought, my DH asked me if I was certain I had my AF....b.c he was hoping it was only a little spotting that some women get when prego. It was cute. I know he is excited but he doesn't show it like I do. He shows it in little questions like that. I love him.

My DH is the same way. It's so sweet. Like the other day, he just started telling me names that he liked for girls and boys. And out of nowhere, he'll ask me if I'm ovulating.

As for the spotting/light AF, I definitely think the stress of TTC can impact your cycle. Hopefully this is your lucky cycle. If not, let's hope it's very soon!

Thanks Junie...I didn't think about the stress even if you don't "feel" it. Here's hoping this is your cycle as well.

Aren't the DH's sweet in their own little way. It's so cute. I can't wait for my hubby to become a Dad. He will be so wonderful.

This was our first cycle TTC and I have to say I was very impressed with how my husband handled me being upset about AF showing her face- much more compassionate than I expected- even though as a guy he thinks its silly for me to be upset the first month :-)

My AF changed when I started to TTC but I also was on the pill up to that point. Did you recently come off of any hormone based birth control? That's so sweet of your DH to say that.

I've been off birth control for at least 4 years. I can't take the hormones anymore. My period is usually very regular but this one, since TTC, has been very strange. Here's the break down

Pre-TTC my cycle was a bit short, 26 days. AF was 7 days with the heaviest part being days 3-5.
1st cycle after starting TTC was 32 days long! AF was spotty CD1-4, CD5 & 6 where heavy, CD7 was medium, and I've been spotting since. It's CD10! This is nuts for me.

Will a long AF mess up a cycle of TTC? Gosh I hope not.

Mine has been kind of off too... We've only been trying now for a month but, yeah my flow is way lighter than it used to be!
