I tried this cycle - but I was too afraid it wasn't enough. We started out BDing on CD8 and CD 10, but then I knew it was getting close to O time (even though I didn't get a positive OPK until CD13 so we just BD'd every day until ovulation.
Ok, now I'm wondering if I was even right? I "think" it means sperm meet egg plan? But I only got that from the context of the person who posted before me...but if YOU don't know either, now I'm second guessing myself!
HAHAHA Don't second guess yourself! You're bang on. Not gonna lie, when my sister said they were SMEP'ing I thought it was code for sex cause her other kids were in the room! Then I googled. Some people swear by it and others have no opinion. So when in doubt...check with the JM crew!!
I had to google this too...it sounds like an interesting plan. May be worth a shot...and saying SMEP out loud just makes me laugh...reminds me a bit of the "yip yip" alien/monster things on Sesame Street
I tried it once or twice in the past, but that was before I had my one tube unblocked and my other one untangled... so timing was the least of my problems at that point.
I was planning on doing it this cycle, but I had a crazy fever on CD 7-8 and wasn't really feeling up to BD'ing for a few days after that. We hit CD's 11, 13 & 15 but then dropped off until CD 19 because I thought I wasn't gonna O. Hell, I didn't actually get confirmation of O until I was 7 DPO!
Since this cycle has been so "Wow"... I'm hoping to give it a better shot next cycle, maybe.
