I started the soy isoflavone last night!!

I couldn't decide which days would be best to take it, so I just picked CDs 1-5, 200 mg. We'll see what happens!! Although I did read that taking it earlier could result in more eggs, and taking it later tends to produce better quality eggs? I figured the more eggs, the better chance at actually conceiving (plus I would LOOOOVE twins! )

Either way, if I even ovulate AT ALL I will be so incredibly happy. It would be the first time since before going on the BCP And would also be our first REAL chance at conceiving

I will keep everyone posted on how it's going! I'm still debating getting OPKs since I haven't had good luck with them in the past (tons of positives but no real O...) Instead I'm thinking of getting on a strict every-other-day BDing regimen as soon as AF packs up and until O is DEFINITELY confirmed with high, high temps! Poor DH, I'm sure he'll be SO upset

Oooh! good luck Dani! I hope it works for you!
I'm just wondering though, how are you taking the soy and where did you get it from? Is it a supplement? Are you drinking tons of soy milk? I would try it just to increase my chance of having twins. I would love to have twins too

WALMART!
Lol, they have 40 mg soy isoflavone tablets in the vitamin section. I bought a bottle of 60 (it was the ONLY kind they had, so I was stuck with it--good price though!!). I am taking 5 40-mg tablets once at night since I heard taking it before bed can help reduce or eliminate possible symptoms.

I will let everyone know how things are going!

Come on little eggies!!!!

I'm TTC #1 also and my sister in law just suggested soy to me. I guess I'll go check at walmart! Any specifics about what I should look for? What size and how much a day? My body just doesn't want to O and its driving me crazy!
