I was wondering if anyone could maybe help me with some insight. This is the first month I've temped, and lately the temps have been crazy!! For example, I was supposed to ovulate yesterday, and the day before my temp dropped. Then yesterday it was somewhat back to normal, and this morning it had dropped again!! They also dropped at one point previous in my cycle. All other signs point to me having ovulated already. Could there be something wrong? Could it be that I just bought a cheap thermometer? If anyone has advice, I would be grateful.

Do you use Fertility Friend? Do you use a basal thermometer? Do you wake up to temp at the same time everyday? Has the temp in your bedroom been about the same? The Fertility Friend website lists factors that may be affecting your temps, you might want to check it out. Also, the Fertility Charting board can help you here at JM. Can you post a link to your chart?

I haven't really gotten comfortable with fertility friend yet, though I'm working on it. I don't think I have a basal thermometer, it was a cheap one from a pharmacy. (less than $5 cheap). I have been temping at relatively the same time. Then temp in my bedroom could be different because we've been running a/c. Thank you so much for these words of wisdom! I will pay more attention, and take a look at fertility friend and start my chart. I've just been writing things down this month. Thanks again!!
