......went great! She explained everything to me and DF so clearly. I really like her. She started me on 100mg of Clomid CD 3-7. I will know my insulin results Monday to see whether I need Metformin or not. Glucose level was good, however. We have another appt Oct 23rd, hopefully we will have our BFP then

Sounds good!

You might want to ask about taking metformin even if your insulin is normal. I've benefited from it a lot even though I always had great insulin numbers and I know a lot of other women are in that boat with me. The insulin test doesn't detect many instances of insulin resistance. So you can do great on the test, but still be insulin resistant and still respond to metformin. Just a thought.

Good luck!

Thanks! I went in locked and loaded with questions. She said she wasn't going to put me on anything I didn't absolutely need. She did say it wouldn't harm me if I did take and there was no medical reason to take it but that was more pills to take and a lil extra money & the possibility of extra side effects. (as if clomid didn't have enough) ha. Great logic. I think she wants to be sure I do need it first. Which is ok with me.
