So my appointment this afternoon went well! My liver enzyme levels went down, the u/s checking my liver was all good. The only thing was that since I'm still not getting AF on my own he wants to up my metformin dosage to 2000 mg instead of 1500 mg. I've been doing really well on the met so far (very few side effects, and not even every day). Now I'll take 2 pills at breakfast and 2 at dinner. I'm also getting more bloodwork done in 6 weeks.

He also prescribed Clomid 50 mg on days 5-9 of next cycle. Then b/w in CD 22 to make sure I O'd. If Clomid doesn't work after 2 cycles he mentioned upping the dosage.

Soooo next step is if no AF by Oct 16th, then I have to call and get b/w to check HCG and progesterone levels to see if I'm pregnant or if I ovulated. If those are nonexistant then I get back on Provera to bring on AF, then take the Clomid.

Hopefully things begin to progress quickly!!! I have high hopes that something will work within the next few months! My RE said that he has a success rate of 60-80% of patients getting pregnant by 3-4 months of being on Clomid

Sounds like a great appointment! So excited for you! I bet you're through the roof to have a plan for the next few months, and hopefully it won't take long at all for you to get your BFP!

Sounds like a great first appointment!!

I believe the research on clomid says that 40% of women will get pregnant within 3 to 6 cycles of trying. I never understood what that last bit meant, is it 3 or 6? Hopefully your RE's numbers are closer to right!

What a great appointment! I'm still hoping you get a soy baby this cycle but if not it sounds like you are getting a Clomid baby soon!

Thanks ladies!! If I'm REALLY lucky, I will get a soy baby before even getting on Clomid!

OPKs are getting darker by the day, I'm hoping for a positive tomorrow or Monday, and then maybe an O shortly after that!

Thanks everyone! OPKs actually were lighter yesterday, so Saturday may have been + (I hate interpreting these stupid lines!) So I put that one as + on my chart, and my temps seem to be going along with it

We'll see what happens in a few days, although I'm still going to see what today's and maybe tomorrow's OPKs do!
