My hubby and I started TTC last cycle. Seems that we have had no luck on the first, I started my period last thursday, but it was a lot lighter then they usually are and it was only 3 days compared to my normal 5-6 days. I have been a little concerned with that if maybe I did concieve, so im wondering if I should take a PT or not.

Also we have been going off of my cervical mucous on when I'm ovulation and I would like to get an ovulation kit. Theres just so many of them out there so if anyone has one they would like to suggest that would be great! I've been thinking about the clear blue ones, they sound good to me.

We have talked about what sex we want and the hubby dosent care he just wants to be a daddy (i think his biological clock is ticking ha ha). I don't care either way as well but latley I have been leaning towars a girl. I had this dream last that I was pregnant and we had a girl so I think that might have influnced that idea and it just makes me even more excited and inpatient!

Im on day 7 of this cycle right now so were getting closer to the deadline! If anyone has an advice for me that would be great as well! And good luck to all you ladys as well!!!!

I definitely think getting OPKs is a good idea. I bought some on Amazon.com because they are cheaper and I tend to go through them quickly

Also, you should try charting your temps. FertilityFriend.com is what most of the ladies here use to chart their temps. This is the best way to determine if and when you O.

Hello and welcome! I'm Dawn (28) and DH (32). to what Dani said. You should start charting and as for OPKs definitely get them from amazon. Some ladies also buy the similey face kind to back up what the cheapies say but I feel that the ome's from amazon work just fine. Fertility friend also has lessons on charting and fertility that will help you get started but feel freemto ask any questions you may have. We are all happy to help!

As for your cycle, you could have had implantation spotting and there could always be a possibility you have gotten pregnant. The only way to know is by testing if you feel you may be. Do you have any symptoms?

I'm Adrienne (32) and DH is 31. We're in our third cycle of TTC #1. I got a faint positive HPT last night and this morning, so I'm crossing fingers that it sticks.

Welcome! I'm fairly new the boards as well - but so far these ladies have been super helpful. It's nice to have a place to rant (especially since we're personally not telling anyone we're TTC).

I don't have too much advice yet (still learning) but I bought some OPKs from the Dollar store. They seemed to work so/so - I think the problem was me reading them . According to what I've read - charting temps is a good way to go (I'm going to start that next month if we're not lucky this month).

I'm Jenn (33) and my DH is Calvin (42). We are at the end of our 2nd cycle TTC#1. I started charting temps this cycle and I think FF is great! I have not ventured into OPKs yet but if we are unsuccessful this cycle OPKs will be my next purchase.

Welcome! I'm Karin, DH is Patrick, we're both 36, and on cycle 34 of TTC our first. I always get the cheapie OPKs from CVS, and they work pretty good for me. Def start charting too!
