The closer to the anticipated start of your period you are, the more accurate the test results will be. But like everything else with TTC, it just depends. Some ladies get BFPs on 8 DPO, some don't get them until 18 or 20 DPO. Most people (and Fertility Friend) will tell you to wait til 13 DPO to test. I personally would tell you to wait until at least 10 DPO...

Hope that helps!

I concur. I got a very, very faint positive at 11 DPO. Kind of wish I would have waited until 13 DPO because the line was definitely darker by then.

Keep in mind that the positive result really doesn't have to do with when you ovulated, but rather when you implanted. You will usually start to see a faint positive about 3 days after implantation.

Good luck testing.

My husband keeps telling me to test now, since i have 3 pregnancy test in the bathroom cabinet! =) But i told him i'm not gonna test till the time i'm supposed to get AF, hopefully she doesn't show! I don't wanna set myself up for disappointment if i test now. I'm supposed to get AF in about 5 days! 5 days toooooo long!

I know how you feel, but I think you'll feel better if you wait to test. Even if you logically know that you might get a BFN because it's early, it's still so disappointing to see.

FXing that AF stays away for you!

I agree and think you should wait until the day AF should arrive or the day after. Testing to soon can result in false positives and those are the worst!
