So I noticed from our daily stats threads that a lot of us are waiting to O.
What do you all do to pass the time while you're waiting?
What are your TTC strategies for catching the egg?

This is my first cycle temping and I'm using OPK's. We were supposed to be following SMEP, but we are failing at it so far. DH has been miserably sick and when he doesn't have a cold he's battling a migraine. I figure the next 3 days will be critical because I'll be on CD 14, 15, and 16 which is around when I O'ed last time. Fingers crossed!

We are waiting to o. We typically start some action around cd 14 or 15 and continue on at least every other day until I get a positive opk, and then every day for that day and two or three more days. We use preseed if I have a positive OPK otherwise we don't. We go the whole nine yards of laying on my back with my feet on the wall loool.

I've been waiting to O for 15 whole months!!
This cycle was the Clomid cycle, so we have been BDing every other day since AF left, and we will continue doing that. I'm using OPKs but they are still really light, so I'm hoping something starts to happen soon!! I'm also temping of course. If I get a + OPK we will probably BD a couple days in a row until I get a temp shift.
And then on the 26th I'm getting bloodwork done to see if I did O. If I did then I will be in my first real TWW ever. If not then it's probably back to Provera

I'm waiting to O too. I normally O late in my cycle, with a short LP. However, B6 has been helping me to O earlier. So I'm hoping to O by at least CD 20 this cycle.
I had my first day of fertile CM yesterday, but my OPKs are still negative. I had 9 days of fertile CM last cycle before I O'd, though. So we'll just have to see. I also chart my BBT to confirm O.
We generally BD every third day or so until I start getting fertile CM, and then it's every other day. When I get a +OPK, we BD that day and the next day. My surge has never lasted more than 1 day.
I've been pretty sick the past couple of days, though, so we probably won't BD again until Friday or the weekend. That should be fine, though.

I am waiting to O as well. I'm on CD 3 right now so I have a little while. I usually O around CD 12-14.
I use OPK's starting on CD 10 or 11 and we BD at least every other day up to when I start using OPK's then we BD everyday untill I get a pos OPK. I also judge my CM and CP but I have yet to actually see EWCM, I always have creamy! Also I started temping my BBT so I will use that to confirm O.
Since I started temping, this cycle I will do the same with my OPK's but we will keep BD everyday untill I see my temp change for O.

I'm waiting to O...AF just left and I'm only on CD 5 so I just try keep myself busy until it's BD time. I try to start BDing CD 8 - 10 and then ever other day until CD 18 - 20. I usually O between 14 - 17 so I just try to cover all my basis. I stopped doing OPK and temping since I've confirmed when I O is pretty consistent and I have a hard time temping because I'm always waking up before at different times before my alarm goes off. I am trying the go with the flow approach and try not to stress about getting pregnant. Easier said than done though.

I haven't O'd in 26 months (that I know of) (DANG PCOS) So I am always waiting for it! But this is my first month trying and temping with my taking Vitex, only because I have had two cycles in a row less then 41 days!!! So I am waiting for O again, I dont do much, just not think about it!

I've updated my chart...
I've had fertile CM for since the beginning of the week
I'm on CD 16 and got a + OPK last night.... dark lines
Took another OPK tonight and got a +.... 2 lines not so dark but matching colors
I told DH that we were BDing... He thinks I'm nuts because it hasn't worked any of the other months.
I have to say though since Ive been taking Vitex, Red Rasp & B6, I usually O on CD 21 and I'm early this month so I'm keeping that these herbs are getting my cycles balanced.

B6 has been helping me a lot, too. My LP has increased by 5 days in just 3 months, and I'm hoping even more this cycle. Best of luck as you move into the 2WW.

I got my positive OPK last night on CD15 which is the same day in my cycle as last month. I'm sure you can guess what DH and I will be doing all weekend.
Good luck to everyone!

I think you O'd. Give it a couple more days, and your chart will be more definitive.

I love it when +OPKs come just in time for the weekend. Good for you! I'm still just waiting, but I expect to keep waiting for at least several more days. That's just my wacky body. At least I'm getting over being sick... I'm just hoping that doesn't delay me any more.
Have fun this weekend.

I am feeling better. I feel like I'm hacking up a lung at times, but I'm a lot better otherwise. Thanks for asking.
