Ah, those are stories to cherish. As long as you got married and everyone had fun, that's the important part.
I had record October snowfall on our wedding day. There was no power at the hotel, we had to kick my husband out of the house to get ready, we did the rehearsal by cell phone light because the power went out. We also had no power for the reception. The menu got changed a bit because of that and we were lucky they had enough of a generator to run the DJ, 2 ovens, and 1 chandelier, but they had a lot of oil lamps lit and our DJ didn't get to project our custom monogram. It was still a day that I look back on with great, happy memories even though pretty much nothing went as planned.
