How was your weekend? Any pics to share?

My weekend was okay. DH refinished the stairs. I couldn't do any of my plans for cleaning because of that (sawdust gets everywhere), so I just relaxed and did some laundry. It's also not easy to plan dinner when you're dealing with smells from poly. Nothing really tastes great with that smell!

Today we went to church, then went to go see The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. DH wasn't expecting to like it (I think he didn't know what it was going to be about) but he did. I thought it did a pretty good job of translating the book into a movie. Some things didn't make sense in this one, but will make sense if they make movies of the other two books. I'm glad we went to see it.

Tonight we're going to watch some football and see who our Patriots will be playing when we go to the playoff game next week.

My weekend has been kinda blah. Been at work all day today and yesterday. Thurs and Fri were our days off and we went and did a little retail therapy. Hope everyone else had a great weekend!

Ours was great! My company had a 25th Anniversary Dinner/Dance last night and it was INCREDIBLE! Here's our pic from the photo booth.

I had an ok weekend. Friday night, my hobby went to play poker, so I got to stay home, watch Mash and play some aircraft guiltfree.

Saturday, we took my dog for grooming and legged around the house (I wasn't feeling that well) and then picked the dog up. He's being put into a show cut since my groomed is using him for advanced certification and he's soooo fluffy and cute.

Today I had my dog trainer apprenticeship class and the focus today was first aid and grooming, so lots of learning for that. And now I'm at the inlaws for dinner and watching the IT Crowd.

My hubby has not been to work since Dec. 15th... and tomorrow/today is going to be his first day back... Im soooooooooo bummed! I LOVED having him home with me! we were pretty busy for the first two weeks he had off so this past weekend we have been staying home... and just watching movies so its been a veg weekend for us!

Pretty much standard weekend...getting stuff done around the house, grocery shopping, and getting DH's truck smog checked. Weeeee! Went to the Safari Park for a bit yesterday, so that was fun. Nothing too exciting, but got a lot accomplished!

Nothing too exciting, honestly. I did a lot of writing on my new book and hung out watching movies with DH, went grocery shopping, cleaned and did laundry. Pretty boring, but also nice because the past few weekends have been really busy, so it was nice to just sit home and chill.
