I just have to share this with everyone I know....I'M GOING TO LONDON, PARIS and GENEVA, SWITZERLAND in April!!!
OMG you guys! I can not even begin to tell you all how excited I am! Course I'll have to discuss this with my RE at our appointment - but I highly doubt I'll be pregnant by April - and if I have to, I'll push any treatments til after I come back!
Now, I am not going with DH...I'm actually going with my mother. We'll be staying in London (she has a friend there) and I'll be meeting up with some of MY friends in Paris. I work for a Global company and one of our divisions (who we work with on a daily basis) is out of Geneva, Switzerland. It's everyone's wish here to go over there (and some have been lucky to do so, through work, but I'm way down on the food chain...) So the fact that my mother and I are going for personal reasons - we are TOTALLY making a day to go to the building so I can meet everyone out there!
I am shaking right now I'm so excited! (and really should be working! lol)

OMG!!!! I'm so excited for you!!! How cool!!! I've been to London, but never Geneva or Paris!!! I can't wait to hear all about it (I know it's not until April--but I love hearing about travel stories). How cool to meet your overseas coworkers!!! I'm also a bit envious, I work for the VA, we are obviously are not international! Have a great trip and please post pics if you can!!!!

That sounds absolutely amazing!!!! We did London and Paris for our 1st anniversary, and LOVED it.
I'm super jealous, but you'll have a fantastic time

AWWWWW!!! I WANNA GO!!! can you pack me in your suitcase? I will be really good and wont move or breath if I have to! lol I havent done Europe yet either... but maybe one day!  hope you have a BLAST!!! thats sooooooooooooo exciting!

That sounds awesome! I've been to London but have always wanted to do a tour of Europe. I almost moved there, but had trouble with getting a visa. I can't wait to hear all about it!

That sounds like a great trip! Geneva has been on my "must-visit" list for too long, so I'll have to vicariously enjoy it through your pics!
I'm a Londoner born & bred (moved to California 11mths ago to be with DH) so if you want any local knowledge tips, just PM me

Well, Geneva may be out (boooo) just because my mother is paying for 9/10s of the trip and she doesn't want to be rude to her friend who is graciously letting us stay with her (in Kent, England). But we are still definitely going to London (of course) - Paris - Lancashire, England - Liverpool, England and possibly Cardiff, Wales.
I am just so ecscatic - it seems like a dream!

So I take back my last post (hopefully)...I hope I'm not prematuraly posting this...but I spoke with my supervisor - who spoke with her supervisor...I suggested - since I am going out to Europe for vacation...and paying for it myself...what would they think of me extending my 'vacation' and working in the Geneva office for a week??!!! THEY LOVE the idea! OMG!
it's everyone's DREAM here to go over there! and I am sooooo far down on the food chain here I'd never get chosen to go (plus they put a 'freeze' on sending people for a few years) - but since I'm footing the bill...
Now I still need it approved from a few more higher ups - but OMG! I am just beyond excited, girls!!!!!
I'll go on my vacation then go over and stay with a friend (from the other office who's from/lives in Switzerland) and stay with her for a week while WORKING for that week! BROWNIE POINTS!
