So, before getting into the fertility clinic, my dr suggested getting my cd3 bloodwork done so that it's less to do before getting on a treatment plan.

So..today is CD3, I had an appointment for my lunch break and tell my hubby last night to remind me to take my form in the morning.

Morning comes... no reminder.. I forgot to grab it myself... get all the way to work (a good 45 min drive) and realize I forgot it at home. No way to get it, can't leave work to get it, no one else could bring it, etc etc.

No problem, I'll cancel the appointment and book one for tomorrow... They have NO appointments available until the time of day when I'm the only one at work and absolutely cannot leave work for 30 mins to get the bloodwork done.

I am so mad

Oh dang! (((HUGS))) That is seriously awful. Is there another way you can get another form to fill out? (not sure if this is possible depending on the type of the form.)

If my dr was working today, I could get her to fax one in..but she's off and because it's one that she just ticks off the boxes, the nurse doesn't know what was ticked on it

I'll watch tomorrow and see if someone cancels their appt for a time I can make it for... which I'm going to be checking..

If not, just have to wait til next cycle. It'll probably be another 4-5 months before I get into the clinic anyways, but I just wanted to get it done and sent off, ya know?

I see your location says Calgary... I'm in Edmonton area Since you can go anywhere to get your b/w done, any hospital or lab, is there anywhere else you can go other than your regular place?

Tammy - because I have to go in my work day and use my lunch break (which is 30 minutes), I have to limit it to the one place that I can make it there and back in my break time

I talked to my boss and she's going to see if she can do anything.. I have a tentative appointment booked for 2:40pm today, which was the only cancellation they had and the last person at work (other than me) is off at 3.. so it should be doable, but if I have to wait at all, could be bad since I *have* to be back before they leave for the day. And the other person is based in Quebec, so asking them to stay a little late would be cruel since they're already there pretty late.

Gotta love working a help desk
