Have any of you ladies had a pain near your ovary. I don't think it's because I'm ovulating. But then again I could be wrong. Today I'm not having the pain. But yesterday off and on all day I would have a sharp pain for like a second then stop then a sharp pain for second. All day it was off and on. It was on my left side near my ovary. I don't recall ever having a pain like that before. I am not even sure if I ovulated this month I didn't notice the usual CM this month. I had CM but it never got egg white like. So I'm not sure what's going on with my body I'm getting frustrated. I will say that this month has started out very stressful so maybe that's why I'm having trouble.

Any ideas????

This happens to me, but I'm like you and I don't have any answers. When I asked my OB about it, he said it was just my body trying to O and regulate after I went off bcp. Sometimes that theory makes sense, but other times the timing is all wrong, so I have to wonder if I have cysts bursting or something. However, there is no blood associated with it so I don't know.

I am not sure if that is what is going on with you or anything, that is just what I am thinking it could be. I've been getting them really bad again the past few days and this time I really think it could be because my body is struggling to ovulate.

Hopefully you are able to figure something out. Good luck!

Ya I have been of BCP since November. So it could be my body still trying to get back to normal. There was no bleeding with the pain either. And today I just have normal cm. So I'm not sure what's going on. I hope that this isn't a continual thing. I have passed a cyst before and it HURTS! So much pain. Thankfully it passed and didn't burst!

I hope our bodies can get back on track. I would like to start making that baby soon lol!!!

It is completely normal to have O pain before, during, and after you O. If you google it, you will find a better explanation than I can give but his is an explanation I found oh JM...
When a woman ovulates, the egg bursts through a follicle inside her ovary and is moved through the fallopian tube towards the uterus.* During ovulation, the fallopian tube contracts rhythmically.* These contractions help to push the egg through the fallopian tube and towards the uterus.* The pain you feel during ovulation is most likely a result of the egg bursting through the follicle.* Following that, you may notice some mild cramping as the fallopian tube contracts and moves the egg through the fallopian tube.* You may notice a pinching pain first – probably from the follicle bursting – and then dull cramping.* Some women only notice the cramping feeling and others feel both types of ovulation pain.* It can last for a few hours or a few days.

I also get these pains every month; some months are worst than others.

Ah ha! Definitely makes a lot of sense. I was just worried in my situation because it has been pretty painful the last few days. Like sometimes worse that AF cramps. I really hope it is a good sign and I am just ovulating though.

If you HAVE ovulated, it's possible it's your corpus luteum from where you ovulated. Or you could be gearing up to O.
Or, since it's on your left side, it could be gas or internal constipation (I think the intestines pass by close to the ovary on the left side)...
