Soooo after my venting of a couple weeks ago I have been feeling much better, using the opk's I got from Amazon thanks to one of you girls (Sorry I can't remember your name!). Everything has been as usual except that my husband has agreed to go ahead and dtd unprotected since we should be able to start group insurance in april and I figured if I did conceive than I could just wait to have my first appt til after the new insurance starts.
Anyways..... long story short, I dipped the stick and watched it and got really excited cause the little purple line started coming up and it hasn't done that. I did two, took pics, and here we are! I'm scared to get too excited tho! I told DH and asked about unprotected tonight and he said... "sounds cool" lol. SO we will try to BD tonight I guess! I've had a TON of EW cm the last couple days, so I'm really hopeful. I've been taking Evening Primrose oil so I think that has helped.

Even if it doesn't happen this time it gives me hope that my ovulation may be sporadic but at least its still happening. But then there's my thoughts of what if my temp doesnt go up and this is just a false alarm. But those sticks looked pretty positive!

BUt... if you have pcos, is it possible to get the lh surge and not actuallly ovulate cause it turns into a cyst?

Or is it that if you get the lh surge you will 100% for sure ovulate

That is definitely a + OPK. Just keep temping, it will go up . It sounds like you are having good signs you are going to O.

I don't now much about pcos but have read that if you have pcos you could have several positives. You can always test again tomorrow to make sure the line gets lighter.

Those are definitely +!!! Do you have a chart you can link for us to stalk??

For your question about PCOS, it's true you can get a + and not O, but really that goes for girls without PCOS as well, just like some women will never see a + OPK but do ovulate. Best thing to do is BD when you see the + and keep BD'ing until you get CH's to confirm O. Doesn't have to be every night, could be every 2nd night, but best to keep going until you know for sure!

I'm just so nervous my temp won't go up, or will go up for a couple days then drop again like it has so many times before! Ugh... Just gotta have patient and trust God to work it out!
