Today was the day of my CD 21 blood work, and it was also perfect timing for DH to give his sample, so I was going to drop it off when I went in. Unfortunately, my doctor was not clear about which lab I needed to go to, and I went to the wrong one. They sent me to the main lab, the address of which was listed on my paperwork from the doctor. I get there, still in time, and the frickin place moved in August! I did not make it to the third place within the 60 minute time limit, so we have to redo the sample, which means longer before we get results (and more abstinence) Argh! I know this isn't really a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but it really frustrated me and I needed to vent!

I would be really irritated too, at the very least they should have the correct address on the papers by now so you would have got there the 2nd try. Were you able to get your CD 21 bloodwork done while you were there? I hope you get some good results back from that and if you get your bfp this cycle you won't even need to do the SA again.

Ugh that is a really frustrating start to the day! They should probably update their paperwork to have the correct address! Geez. Hope you still got your bloodwork done and that your day starts getting better!

Oh dang! I would definitely say something to the nurses staff or receptionist or something that they clearly need to update their paperwork. I would be really upset too! Grrr...any set back this stage in the game can be really frustrating. Vent away! ((HUGS))

Sorry you had such a frustrating start to the day...sounds like one of those "sitcom-level" crazy mornings! Hope you're feeling better now! Really sucks to be prepared for something and then miss out because of something that isn't your fault.

Thanks ladies. I was able to get my blood work done (5 vials worth), so at least it wasn't a complete waste of time. I think we're going to get the SA sample in on Thursday, as I will have time to drop it off before work that day. That will be 3 days of abstinence, and they say 3-5, so hopefully that's good enough.

that sucks! i swear, sometimes doctors office don't know their head from their rears. update your stuff! i can just imagine how frustrated you were running around with his swimmers, i would have been mrs. road rage. good you can do it again this week, boo abstinence.
