Yup, I don't usually get it, but I got it bad this month! Mine felt almost like kidney pain except a little lower and up front instead of in back. I got it about 9 hours after my +OPK, but some women get it starting a couple of days before O.

I've always gotten it, and it was noticeable even before I started TTC. Interestingly, it was always worse when I was ovulating from my left side. Every woman is different. For me, though, I would actually have several days of dull pain in my ovary leading up to O. On the day of O, I would sometimes feel a pinching sensation and other times not. I believe the dull pain leading up to O was just the follies being stimulated in preparation to release the egg.

Also, cysts can cause pain around O time as well. The increasing estrogen can flare the cysts, causing more pain than usual. So sometimes "O" pain is just cyst pain. Cysts are incredibly common, too.

Yep, I never used to have any pains around O time, but more recently I've noticed some twinges right before I O.

I don't notice it every single month, but often enough. It's not usually painful, just enough to notice.

I find I will get a sharp pain sometimes when I twist a certain way just on the one side. I never knew what it was until I started ttc and charting and kind of focused on when it happened. For me, I don't necessarily think it's only on O day, I think it's just that things are more sensitive for a few days and I feel it.
