I know I dont post much on here anymore... or lately... but thought I would let you all know that we FINALLY got a SA done and heres the results:
Volume: normal is 2 mil or < and his is 9 mil
I'm not sure what this next number is but the norm is 20 mil or < and his is 85 mil
Total norm is 40 mil and his is 765 mil
Motility norm is 50% and his is 69%
Kurger Morphology norm is 15 or < and his is only 9... but the nurse said that with him having so much sperm that it shouldnt matter that much...
so... I guess I was right all along... the problem is me! I cried while she was giving me the results... and cried my eyes out after... I just feel broken...

I don't know for sure how accurate this is but the lab that I got ours done at said that anything over 6 ml can indicate an infection of some sorts. Just an fyi in case it is true.

Mrs. Paradise I'm so glad his numbers were great! And I'm so sorry you feel broken that totally sucks The ONLY upside to that is you're dealing with 1 factor and not both, which may mean and easier solution! Praying for ya girlie!

I have had testing done! and all of my blood work says everything is normal... I do have Endo... but other then that Im stumped... and I have a feeling that I wont know more until I go to a RE... and Im not sure we want to do that... just because all of it will be coming out of our pockets... but I have an appointment with my OBGYN in a week... and we shall see what she says... if a RE is our last hope then we will go... but would rather keep that money and spend it on the baby instead of spending on it trying to GET ONE! lol but we will do whatever we need to do...
THANKS Tam!!! yes its bitter sweet for me... as I knew it would be either way... but at least now we know! and that puts us one step closer!

Jess, with your endo, have you given your body a "break" lately and tried the pill for a few months? The right type of pill can help with the endo being on attack so to speak. Sometimes endo bodies just need a break and a steady hormone pill can help. Do not use the ones that are tri-hormone type. These are usually the low dosage ones and won't suppress your body or relax it, it can actually make it worse. A one dosage pill can help. I truly think me taking the pill for about six months helped knock my body into a good cycle. I had "regular" cycles for me beforehand and then gave my body a rest with the pill. Came off and my body suddenly started functioning correctly all on its own. This is when I decided to start ttc again since I figured then was the best shot I was ever going to have.
This is just a suggestion though. Endo unfortunately effects us all differently so I can't promise it will work for you. And it's something you can discuss and do through your OB instead of seeing an RE just yet.

I'm sorry you are dealing with this but it's great the SA came back so good. I think Dane's advice sounds like it's worth a shot or at least to discuss with your doctor.

THANKS soooooooooo much for posting and thinking of me Danee! I havent thought about it... I actually wanted to take time off if I wasnt pregnant by the end of this month... and then I was talking with my bff and decided I cant! I just couldnt forgive myself because I would always be thinking WHAT IF?!?! and I just cant do that to myself... but if it will bring me my baby then I might have to talk with my doctor about it... I was planning on asking her about a LAP because its been so long and Ive been in more pain lately... so I guess I will just wait and see what she says! and go from there!
THANKS girls! I hope it does mean an easier solution for us too!

I'm so glad that his results came out well.
I'm also sorry you feel broken. When we were doing testing in 09 and found out it was me with PCOS I felt the same way. Thankfully with it we found what worked for us and you know the rest. I'm still praying for you everyday that you get your bfp and a very sticky little bean.

Jessica, I love your new siggie!
I'm sorry that neither one of your tests gave you an answer. I hope you'll get your BFP soon. If you came back clear, then you're not broken (although I know it's hard not to feel that way).

If you do the lap then definitely do the pill!!!! Some doctors like to do the lap and Lupron treatment but I'll never promote it. I know some people have fine experiences on it, I think cait did good on it. I on the other hand actually still have lasting side effects from it and it contributed to my discharge from the navy ( long story lol ). I too wanted another lap but my doctor kept refusing saying it wouldn't do any good( whatever). Definitely talk to your doctor though about these options. Good luck!

thanks Robyn! its a oldie siggy but I it!
Danee I did the Lap and then the lupron too... it helped take away the constant pain I had from the Endo for 2 months and then stopped working so I got off of it... and Im glad Im not on it anymore... and I will never get on it again... but I was thinking if I was going to get a lap done then I would get on bcps until after the lap...

Hey hun...while I'm glad the SA results were good, i totally understand how you feel. I am pretty much "normal" by testing standards too, and DH has good SA results. We are paying for our RE out of pocket as well - it sucks, but we've been saving for the last year out of the 3 we've been TTC. Basically my RE said "your eggs probably just aren't very good anymore", and that was pretty much the Dx. Either way, I can empathize with you, and I hope you find a good plan of action for you
