Sorry I know so many ?'s I am just new to charting. Does eating or drinking anything or certain things affect the results on the test?

They say that drinking too much fluid before you test can affect the results, but I've never paid any attention to it and never had any problems!

Ok thank you. I was just wondering because i can't seem to get a definite positive and I don't know why. I had one day that was pretty dark but the lines were never the same or the test line was never darker. Thought maybe because I was drinking or eating to much before testing. I am already on CD 15 so its weird that I wouldn't have ovulated yet :-/. So confusing when u first start out. The past 3 yra I have gone to the Dr so they would tell me (which obviously didnt work). Anyways thanks for the answer :-)

OPK's aren't a sure thing for everyone Some people will never get + OPK's, and if it's your first cycle using them and charting there's lots to learn! How many times in a day are you testing?

Ahh ok, are you using cheapies or an expensive brand? It is possible to miss your surge if only testing once a day, even if it's the same time every day. When you see them get really dark and know you're close, if possible it's better to test multiple times. I've had it be negative in the am, positive in the afternoon, negative at night and negative again by the next day... so if I was only testing say in the morning, I would have missed it

How long are your cycles normally?

I took a peak at your chart and those are definitely pre-O temps, but with that huge dip if your cycles are around 30 days it looks like you should O soon!

I would suggest testing in the late morning if you can and early evening again so you don't miss your surge. Some ladies only get that surge during a certain time of day so they suggest testing twice until you figure out when you get your surge. You should try not to drink anything for a couple hours prior to testing. I would also continue to temp, that will give you confirmation that your O'd. It is possible to O after CD15. I think the lastest I have O'd is CD18. Good luck...and feel free to ask all the questions you need to
