A guy I lived with thought it was a pretty nickname for me to use on IRC (internet chatlines basically) and so I used it there. I discontinued use of the name many years ago, but because I wanted to keep my TTC stuff out of the eyes of everyone who knows my usual online username .. I went back to it. Only my exbf knows the name and could point at me with it.

Fun question. 
My name comes from the Little Mermaid, from the song, "Shaa La La La, My oh my! How the boy too shy, he won't kiss the girl..." Hahaha, love Disney movies and their songs!

How funny! I've been thinking of doing this for a few days.
I love Disney, too!! I hope our children love Disney because otherwise growing up with me as their mother will be torture. 
In high school we got to pick Hispanic names in Spanish class that we went by. According to the list, Belita means Betty. Since that was my nana's name, I chose that one!

Seriously, my DH just told me last night that our kids were going to hate Disney just b/c I loved it so much. He can't talk either, he quotes Peter Pan & Robin Hood all the time.

I wanted to keep my TTC stuff separate from all my other online activities, so I had to come up with a new username. I was drinking tea at the time, and I like the word "hope" because it sounds optimistic. Thus HopeTea was born.

I created my username when I was 18 and creating my first email account! I have blue eyes thus the blueeyes but of course was taken so a few different options came up so I picked the one I thought was easiest... Not to creative here either.
Oh and my cats names are Roxy and Bella so that would make my screen name...
