Hi ladies,

I was hoping this cold would go away quickly, but it appears it's only just getting started. Last night I hardly slept at all... maybe 30 min. out of 8 hours. The rest was tossing and turning. This morning I had a headache and felt like crap.

My temp this morning shot up to 98.76. Now I'm wondering if that is even a reliable temperature, being I'm sick. We've left the heat up a little higher than usual the last couple of days because of my cold, but yesterday my temp wasn't this high. Could it be because I hardly slept? I don't know what to do with this temp...
Out of curiosity I checked my temp again an hour or so later, after I'd gotten up, and it had gone down to 98.45...

Also, I'm afraid of taking any medication in case I could be pregnant. But I really want to feel better What can I do? Or what can I safely take?

All those things you mention can effect your temp, especially being sick and not sleeping. It's ok to record it but I'd probably discard and put in the notes why. If you don't discard, I'd mark yourself as sick and no sleep and at least have it be an open circle in FF to note that the temp is not really accurate due to illness and sleep pattern.

Get better soon

Thanks so much ladies. That sounds reasonable, I'll do that!

Jen, I know what you mean, I'm confused with my temp too, even though I already O'ed. I wish you luck! ... Get better soon

so I just tried to change it - how do I leave the dot in my cycle but without connecting lines? discarding completely removed it...

Discarding it didn't remove it, it just isn't showing because your y-axis scale doesn't go that high with your other temps.
