grrrrr. in this day and age - WHY can't they just go back to their lab and get your blood results while you wait???!!!

Granted, the nurse is supposed to call this afternoon with my CD3 blood results that I had drawn this morning...but I HATE WAITING! lol.

course now I have all sorts of things going through my mind...

one thing that I really need to ask her about is the fact that I have a blocked tube. I know I google way too much and need to stop - but the most common reasons for a blocked tube are either A. an STD such as chalamydia (which I've been tested before in the past and always negative) - or B. Scar Tissue from something such as Endometreosis.

B is what scares me...EVEN THOUGH I have fairly normal cycles, B scares me because of many factors...I have spotting every single month before AF shows up...and my mother had to have a 'forced' hysterechtomy when she was 38 because of Endo...and I asked her this morning - she said she had NO signs or symptoms and always had VERY normal cycles until one day she started bleeding and she bled for 6 months straight...they then diagnosed her with endo and they had to do an emergency hysterechtomy (I was like 10 when she had this done)...

I know everything could come back normal - but knowing already that I DO have a blocked tube...I want to know what caused that and WHY I have spotting every month!

sorry just need to get my craziness outta my head! lol

Aww ((HUGS)) I completely understand your fears. My mom had both endo and PCOS. I am almost positive that I have some form of PCOS even though my dr. refuses to test me for it. It can be scary and frustrating. I so hope it isn't an issue for you though, and even if you do have some form of endo, it might not be that bad. Good luck with the blood work. I hate waiting too! I have to go get my betas done again today to make sure everything with the m/c passed naturally and my HCG is down to zero. But I know I won't get my results for at least two days. Lame.

Good luck with everything and KUP!

I hear you! I'm playing that with my doctor's too. I hope you get your results, too, and that you don't have endo!

Good luck! I really hope that you don't have endo. Maybe it could be something else that's causing the blocked tube??? I hate waiting too! KUP!

SO...My estradio, thyroid and FSH all came back normal. My prolactin came back a little high (like 26, it should be 20) so they are putting me on Parladell?...but only 1/2 a 2.5mg tab.

As for the infection disease one - that won't be done til the end of next week. That one is just scary to think about...I WAS tested right before my husband and I met (as was he) and I remember it coming back 'clean' but I know that the one they are most concerned about (Chlamydia) is known as the "silent" disease...and it's the most common form and that one can cause blocked tubes...(course there's many other reasons as well...) But I really don't think I have anything to worry about there...

As for the possibility of endo - she said unless there's room for alarm (such as painful periods, etc...) they won't do a laparascopy unless absolutely necessary. AND since we have already decided to go for the IVF, it wouldn't matter anyways. But I have extremely normal cycles and O on the 14th day...I'm just more concerned about the spotting - but who knows maybe that's from elevated Prolactin levels????

I have to say though - talking to the nurse...she kept saying "well, we'll keep you on the Parladell until we get you pregnant"

I liked hearing that!

Sounds like your results are great...I wouldn't worry about the STD tests - I was sort of freaked when my RE said we had to do those...I didn't understand why at first, but it made sense when she explained it. Don't give those a second thought...focus on the "...until we get you pregnant" comment...that must be awesome to hear!!!

Sounds great and I love that the nurse kept saying "When we get you pregnant!"
