I just want to start off by saying I love this site so much better! I have been lurking over at the bump Boards and the women over there are SO Katty/mean! I tried to introduce my self and they just went off. So not the place I want to be. I came over here and just looked around and you ladies are so nice and friendly I didnt have a problem with posting. My Dh finally told me on Valentines day that he was ready to have a baby. I have tried to get him to "get ready" for over a year. I never thought I would see the day. I think he is more excited then i am now. I have ran in to so many problems its so frustrating. Anyway. I look forward to getting to know you guys. GL
I love it here, too. My friend found an app community but I much prefer JM. I hope your stay here is short and sweet! If you haven't already, I suggest you start charting your cycles to find your fertile periods and to make sure you're ovulating. Most women here use Fertility Friend. They have a little course you get when you sign up that tells you how to chart.
Thanks!! I thought about it, I just didn't know what equipment to get and I didn't know how too. LOL I have seen them they just looked confusing. Ill have to go sign up and see what i can do!!
It's super easy! FF does most of the work for you. All you need to really worry about is taking your temperature when you first wake up every morning and record it in Fertility Friend. I set my alarm for 6am every morning and I'm usually able to fall right back to sleep when I don't have to go to work (you're supposed to take your temperature at the same time each day).
Just wanted to say a hello and welcome! We have chat night on Tuesdays which is an awesome way to really get to know some of the girls, hope to "see" you there!

Hi and Welcome! I'm Karin, DH is Patrick, we're both 37, and have been TTC our first for about 3 1/2 years now and this is our first cycle MA (IVF-turned-IUI). You found the right place, at least in my opinion. I've spent the better part of the past 3+ years here, and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Just know that NOTHING is TMI here, and we're always open for questions, venting, ranting, crying, laughing, whatever you need.

Welcome to the board! I'm Katie and DH and I have been TTC# for 8 cycles.
I agree - the ladies here are super nice and supportive. I've been to happy to have them! If you do start temping/charting let us know so we can 'chart stalk' you (which means looking at how your temps/signs are doing and offering encouragement etc.).
