My husband and I have recently started actively trying to conceive but my cycles are literally all over the place, they s are usually anywhere from 22-32 days long, if I even have AF that month. I believe that I ovulated around 21-24 days ago, and we had BD several times in that time range. For the past week and a half I have been soo fatigued I can barely make it through the day without a nap, my bb's have started feeling more full/heavy and sore, nipples and areolas are dark and becoming larger, I have had to go to the bathroom about 3x more frequently even though I haven't been drinking more water than I normally do, not to mention I am EXTREMELY gassy and my stomach is all bloatey (sorry for the tmi ). I have never in my life had symptoms last this before my AF, nor have they lasted this long. I have taken about 4 HPT's and gotten all BFN. I am starting to think I am going crazy because I just feel pregnant.. it feels like it can't be possible that I am not. Could it be too soon to test? I've used FMU every time but I get up every 2-3 hours (even at nite) to go to the bathroom, so I'm worried that I don't have enough hcg in my urine.. I am unable to get into the doctors for another 3 weeks so until then I am stuck in a waiting game. Has anybody had this and ended up being pregnant? I feel like I am going nuts

HI and welcome. I'm Karin, one of the cohosts of this board. Have you recently stopped birth control? If so, that would be a very likely factor in your inconsistent cycles, and also could explain the symptoms you are having. The body can take several cycles to regulate after coming off of BCP, so it's not unusual to have a long cycle, with different symptoms than you are used to. What is telling you that you think you ovulated 21-24 days ago? Are you temping/charting/tracking your cycles in any other way? It could be that you did not actually ovulate when you thought you did. Most women, contrary to popular believe, do not ovulate on CD 14, like most textbooks would tell us. So, it is possible that you didn't ovulate when you thought you did, but much later, and that your symptoms now are just prior to AF showing.

Also, what type of HPTs are you using? There are some that are far more sensitive than others. If you are concerned about not having your urine be concentrated enough, you can try getting one of the more sensitive brands of HPT, like a FRER. Do your best to hold it for several hours during the day, then take a test. If you truly are 21-24 DPO, it shouldn't really matter at this point anyway, but give that a shot.

Thanks! I was on and off depo for 5 years. I didn't have AF from december 2010-december 2011. Then had normal cycles until March and now it went away. I am going to start charting tomorrow, just was kind of hoping we got lucky the first month

Prior to depo or any bc, were your cycles normal then? to what Karin said.
