Do you have any vacations planned his summer? If so, where?
Do you have any big non-vacation plans? If so, what?

We have a lot of little trips planned. This weekend we are going to Louisville, KY. Two weeks after that I'm going home to Pittsburgh for my cousin's wedding shower. A couple weeks after that we're going back to Pennsylvania to visit my sister-in-law. My sister, niece and mom are visiting us in Ohio in late July. We are going back to Pittsburgh for my cousin's wedding in August. Then we are going to Seattle and Portland for our big vacation in late August. I hope that's all the travelling we have, but we schedule a couple more trips this summer. Sorry for the long post!

Wow Nicholle! Busy busy!

Well, we have our Chicago trip in a couple days for my niece's baptism (we are godparents). We'll probably squeeze quite a bit in - family and friends - since we don't get home too often these days.

Late in July, I'll be going to San Fran to stay with my brother and his baby while SIL is off on a much-deserved girls weekend.

We have our annual bike trip to Sturgis the first week in August, which will likely be modified this year.

In the middle of August, shortly after Sturgis, we are going to Colorado for a wedding of our good friends (DH is standing up).

Not sure if we will do this, but in October, our best friend is running his first marathon in Chicago, so I'd like to fly back there to support him. Having run marathons, I know how much the support means along the route. And this being his first, we'd like to be there.

That's it so far. No other "big" plans aside from these trips!

We have a few day trips planned. But DH has to work a lot this summer so we won't be doing much.

Wow...I would love to go back up North for a visit...especially as our temps are now in the 100's EEK!

Our only plans due to hubby's work being stinking about time off are a Vegas trip with is little sis and her hubby in July...28 days and counting Cannot wait, we really really need this vacation. Things have been hard, we thought the break we needed was coming, and bam, work took it away again...so we really need the vacation.

If I can swing it, we are going to try and go to Flagstaff or Pinetop with my sisters family after my newest god-son is born (8 more days!!!!)

Our only vacation is Vegas in August, and our annual trip to WI Dells and that's in August too! Other than that just to have lots of fun in the sun before winter comes back!

Sounds like you all have wonderful summers planned! We have my hubby's cousin's wedding in August, but that's close to home. Should be a lot of fun though

My hubby works away from home, but he is taking all of July and August off and will be home! So the first week of July we are heading down to Idaho to Silverwood theme park. I'm very excited! We are going with hubby's brother, his wife and their 2 kids (age 7 and 4). It should be wonderful!

Other than that, hubby and I like to camp and I do endurance and competitive trail rides with my horses I've had 2 rides already this year, and then have 1 each month until the end of September. So that all keeps us pretty busy!

As for non-travel plans...we are currently home shopping. For a hobby farm. We've been looking since March, have looked at 20 + places so far. I hope we find "the one" soon!!

We have taken two camping trips already, and have several more planned, but nothing too far away. We have DH's every other year family reunion in Kansas City in July. Non-vacation, my aunt and uncle from Tucson are visiting so that my uncle, BIL, and DH can ride 2 days of RAGBRAI, since it stops in our town this year. If you don't know what it is - it's a HUGE, internationally known bike ride that crosses the entire state. Much partying is involved

I thought you would know about RAGBRAI. I am most definitely not riding, but I will be participating in the festivities downtown - the Counting Crows are playing! DH did the whole week once when he was much younger. This is only 2 days, but it's the longest day and the hilliest day, and he hasn't really ridden in years. He says it won't be a problem though

I always wanted to ride...but it always conflicted with something or another, so I never did. Super cool for DH though (and super fun for you!)

We are driving 2000 miles from Appleton, Wi to the town I grew up in on the Coast in Nova Scotia. I haven't seen my family since I left in April 2011... so I'm very excited for this trip!

We are going to try and do something with Reme too... we're thinking Chicago.
