'Rubbish' - that's another term you don't hear much over here. I find the differences fascinating!
Whine: There are freakin birds living in our soffitt and crapping all over the window and siding! We thought we fixed this last year (originally due to a half assed job by the roofers), but clearly we did not.

We have the same problem...we have 2 swallows nests underneath the pointy part of our roof. We failed to have them removed last winter after they were vacated, and now they are full again. It's illegal to remove them while they are inhabited, so we're in for a long, poop-filled summer

Whines: I'm still having my weird abdominal pain.. but I did some research last night and apparently it's a side effect of my thyroid med coupled with my IBD.. I just gotta suffer it out until I'm "clear" *fun*
Wahoo: DH came home and said he was told his last day is June 17th! Yes, we are weird people, layoffs are a good thing in our world. It means we get to go home to our actual home!!!!!

Whine: They are now saying afternoon Thunderstorms for Friday and DH and I were planning on going to a zoo called De Young Family Zoo in Michigan. So now we're not sure what we are going to do..go or not.
Woohoo: Tomorrow is my Friday! DH and I took off on Friday for no reason at all and Saturday is our 5 year anniversary!

Brianna, that sounds wonderful! I have never been to Tahoe, but have friends who just moved there (she is in marketing for one of the ski resorts). Looks beautiful!
