on "vacation" this week...we ripped out our old deck yesterday (and I hit myself in the ankle with a hammer! btw, not a good idea.)

today the hubs and his nephew are putting the new deck in and starting on the fence in the back yard!

I'd rather be out there doing that...I have a presentation for work from my Europe trip that is due next monday and I barely just started on it a few days ago...so I know what I'm doing ALL DAY today on my VACATION! ugh. ;(

Vacation for me is all day with DH at his aunts house on the 4th,they have a cookout every yr and then shoot fireworks,I don't normally stray to far away from home for very long as I help take care of my disabled mom, my step dad is always working and she can't be left alone too long, next yr we are all hoping to go to the ocean,my mom has never seen it,and it's her biggest wish I haven't seen it either,we're here in land locked Oklahoma',it all depends on how's she's doing next summer. But those are our vacation plans for the moment.

ugh... I want to scream. can I scream?

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

there, did it anyway. DH's unemployment claim was denied... for being 4 days short of their required 20 weeks in Ohio... they want him to flie in Indiana... but not only has he exhausted his Indiana claims as far as we know... he's worked 33 weeks in Ohio since Last April. Who ever we get on the phone tomorrow better know their job, because I'm about to test them.

Yay for competent people! Turns out claim was denied because DH's company isn't reporting on their end... buncha lazy morons! They haven't reported his last 3 jobs. Says he worked, but no data is available in the system. Would explain why he had troubles with his last unemployment claim. Grrrr.

Me too! We really did NOT want to file in Indiana where they were telling us to file... the rate is very different.

We also discussed TTC and we're going to do the every other day thing this cycle starting today. In return, I'm gonna read 50 shades post O and make it up to him. LOL.

LOL. I've peeked at it, my eyes bled... but it did make me want to shake him awake and ravage him with just a few pages. That's his desired result. I used to read Days of our Lives Fan Fiction and a lot of the good friends I made couldn't write a proper sentence (or even close to one), so I'm sure if I can tolerate those with out crying I'll make it through 50 shades. After all, I did make it through the twilight series 11 times.

If you liked twilight, you'll like 50 shades... after all, it began as a twilight fanfic .. so the plotlines are extremely similar.

The book has the bdsm community SO SO SO up in arms though and I could go on forever about that. But that is not a discussion for here... LOL.

I need to hear more about said book. I've seen peeps reading it, and heard some "hoopla" about it, but i have NO idea what it's about, or what all the fanfare is about?
