So. We had our consent this past monday...and I am doing the long Lupron protocol. Which includes:
Lupron
Baby Asprin
Gonal F
Avridol (spell?)

Well, I called the compassionate care program before our appointment monday to discuss me applying for their program, which would get me like $3,000 worth of Gonal F and Avridol for FREE!...they were supposed to send out the application and I expected it wednsday. Well, nothing. Nothing yesterday either - so I REALLY hope it gets here today!

But the thing is, the doc wants me to start the Lupron on Monday (the 24th) and the nurse didn't want to order it until I had heard from the Compassionate care program (which they swear shouldn't take more than 24 hours to approve...)

Well it is Friday and since I hadn't heard anything I called my doc's office to see about only ordering the Lupron for now.

So it is on its way and will be here tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And honestly the price wasn't all that bad! $199!

So please pray that we get approved for the CCare program, as that'll save us like $3,000!

So awesome!!!! I hope they accept you into the program, saving $3000 would be fantastic (that way you can save it for the FET for baby #2 - yes I am am very optimistic. LOL)

Yey! That's so exciting! I really hope you get that program. That's a huge lifesaver. Our IVF meds ended up costing close to 2K. It sucked, and I really hated it but it will all be worth it in the end. I was also on the long Lupron protocol, but I was on Follistim instead of the Gonal. I'm so excited for you!!
