Sperm-Friendly Lubrications | Being Pregnant

Not only would a lot of RE's have total fits over this, but might explain why some women have trouble conceiving when they're just browsing the internet!

I did a lot of research on coconut oil and almost everywhere warned against using it while ttc! A nautropath i spoke to says her clients use it while TTA because it has spermicidal qualities!

There is just so much conflicting information out there, and thanks to the anonymity of the internet, anyone can post any type of nonsense that they know very little about.

My point was, that if you read the article many of them come from Doctor oz, who is supposed to know better than to give incorrect information.

Everything listed on that site is pretty well regarded as being ttc friendly lubes. THe only one I don't know anything about is the "yes baby" one or whatever. Everything else is very popular and touted as go to lube

No, they are not regarded as friendly lubes. Saliva especially is NOT ok to use while TTC.

Why Does Lubricant Choice Matter When Trying to Conceive?

Ask a fertility specialist, they'll tell you to use Pre-seed (Concieve plus is also ok, I've never heard of the last one in the first link).

I still have my RE info/faq sheet. Lists everything on that site except it doesn't specifically say anything about saliva and does not list the one I had never heard of, the yes whatever it was called lol. Saliva is one of those ones that some studies say it is fine but when they do some high concentration studies, it has some detrimental affect. Honestly though, it wasn't as if the article was ttc blasphemy. Saliva would be a heck of a lot better than the sperm killer lubes that some couples don't know not to use. Oh it also doesn't list yogurt on my RE list. I have researched it a bit in the past as far as PH balancing and ttc and never found anything detrimental. All the oils and eggwhites are on the list though.
