I'm so glad I'm not the only one! I know a girl who just "accidentally" had a baby boy and brags on facebook how it is her way to earn a living from the couch! It makes me sick!
The hardest ones are people I truly love and am happy for but that twinge of jealousy makes me feel like such an icky person! I'm so glad that this board is here to let me know I'm not alone!!

Yeah, but.... she's going to have a KID AT 20. Jeez, I mean that's great and all but if it were me, I would have missed out on SO MUCH. And besides it's tacky to post pictures of your insides on Facebook anyway, so just don't sweat it! We should all just avoid FB while TTC (or all the time, really) to not do any comparisons.

If I EVER had a "friend" on facebook who bragged about that - #1 she wouldn't be my friend on FB or IRL anymore and #2 oooooooh would she get a piece of my mind.

The problem is - I have family like that...course in my family we do have a habit of "dis-owning" each other (no really I'm serious)

Yup, my hide feature has been getting a workout lately. *hugs* most recently is a "cousin" (her mom married my uncle, then they divorced a few years ago) had a little boy.. she's my brother's age.. I can't remember which brother, so she's somewhere between 19 and 21 *headdesk*

As for you, I cannot believe you have not tested yet, and I can't believe your beta is so far out!!!!!! I would totally not be able to not test, I'd have to be locked in a room with no option to hit a store!

Whenever somebody is pregnant and on my facebook friends list I block them for their entire pregnancy. It's just easier that way and it doesn't get to ruin my day. I've had to block my sister-in-law, 2 of my sisters and my niece. Yes my niece, my sister who is only 2 years older than me already has a 1 year old grandchild and I haven't even started my family.

There's an app that will change all the babies posts into pictures of kittens =P I may have to find it and do that soon myself. I'm sorry though and trust me I know how you feel. *hugs*

I love this! There was a lot of negative feedback about it though when the blogger at STFU parents put a link out for it. It's a joke! And kind of a neat feature, to be honest. I haven't done it, but I'm only baby crazy for my OWN potential baby, as selfish as that is. I'd much rather see pictures of kittens than some of the parental over-share on my newsfeed.

I know what you mean! It seems like everyone and their moms are having a baby or just had a baby of FB!! It stresses me out seeing all these other people who have what I want! I just had 4 of my friends have babies within 1 week! I'm sooo happy for them but I can't help that feeling of jealousy that also come with it!

me ! all my friends seemed to have had children or just fell pregnant and its so hard to see!!! i feel like we r having to work so hard and it seems to just 'happen' for them ! So i go with the 'when it happens it will' approach but it still stirs something unpleasant in me !

Trust me, IndyMommy, I get it! But she's a part of the in-laws, kinda (hubby's brother's baby mamma - ugh I hate that term!) and it would cause more drama taking her off the friends list than it does just keeping her on and trying my best to ignore the whole thing!

the sad thing is, I have family like that. After today I am DEFINITELY NOT going to thanksgiving now...DH has a cousin who - her 18 year old is pregnant (after, and I quote, from my BIL "she slept with everyone she could just to get pregnant")

Seriously if I could throw her through a window right now, I would. I don't care if she's 5 months pregnant...
